How to burn palo santo

Burning Palo Santo is a simple process and can be done in the following steps:

1. Light the end of the stick: Hold the end of the Palo Santo stick to a flame, such as a lighter or candle, until it lights. Let it burn for about 30 seconds, then turn off the flame to create a smoldering ember.
2. Use for purification: Wave the fiery Palo Santo stick around your body, in a room, or on an object to purify the space and remove negative energy. The smoke produced by the smoking stick is believed to have healing properties.
3. Put out the ember: When you finish using the Palo Santo stick, place it in a refractory container or on a heat resistant surface so that it turns off by itself. Do not blow on the ember as this can create sparks that could start a fire.

It is important to be careful when burning Palo Santo and to ensure that the smoking stick is placed on a heat resistant surface. Also, make sure the room is well ventilated and avoid burning Palo Santo near flammable materials.

If it is not consumed, save a little piece which you will put in the kitchen until the winter solstice.
